Heartset Coaching by Magda Soto
What does heartset mean to you?
A deep emotional attachment to a person, thing or a place; compassion; aggressive pursuit of a desire, at all cost; for me it can also be an emotional motivator. For example, I am a passionate person, when I do something I do it to my fullest potential. I am a hard worker, but I know that I was meant for more. It’s a feeling I have had since I was a little girl. I know that I was meant for a more meaningful life. My heart is set to have more of what I want and less of what I don’t.
How does heartset make mindset easier?
For me the heart does most of the talking, thus making the mind easier to adapt to what you need to do. So, when we follow our hearts, we don’t put our minds first. Someone with a big heart brings love, kindness, and generosity to our world. They don’t allow their minds to contract to an extent that their heart’s caring qualities are shut down. Also, the heart can make it easier on the mind to have intention, willpower, resilience and persistence.
How can people practice heartset?
By asking your heart what would we do more of, less of? What does it want? More attention, more time for ourselves? More meditation? more workout time? More music? More dance? More deep breathing? More family time? More sit down lunches or dinners? More contemplation? More looking out the window? More support? Asking ourselves what is it our heart wants more of, that we can give it right now? If we cannot provide it for ourselves, who can we call for help? That’s how we can practice more heartset for ourselves.
What is the key to a limitless mindset?
For me there are Six key areas I have implemented on having a limitless mindset:
- Brain growth
- Flexibility and depth
The key is don’t accept the thought that you can’t do something, but challenge your brain and convince yourself that you can do anything you set your mind to.
