- I went to see my coach on a safari trip in South Africa for a week and I came back with a plan.
- I set up a Facebook group for life coaches and offered them the opportunity to do a FB live in my group.
- Life coaches find it difficult to find opportunities in other groups where they can talk about their services.
- I called it “Speakers Week” and I did several of them.
- The night before Speakers Week started, I invited the speakers to a webinar about presentation skills. I always had a good turnout, 60-100 at a time.
- I gave them good advice and then introduced them to a bootcamp about how to write adverts. I charged $247, and admitted 20 to 25 per bootcamp.
- The bootcamp ran Monday to Friday, 1 hour a day, and they learned a lot and made progress.
- On the Friday, I did a special extended session which included an upsell into my Mastermind.
- The Mastermind was priced at $500 a month and limited to 8 people.
I was running one bootcamp a month – $5000
I had 2 Masterminds – $8000 a month
Bringing in a total of $13,000 a month
Then I went back to the people in the bootcamp who didn’t join the Mastermind and I asked why. To those who said they preferred a 1-1 experience, I presented my 1-1 coaching services and that took me past $20,000 a month.
