An interview with Martina Mazdrova Life Coach
What is the biggest obstacle you have had to overcome in your life?
One of the biggest obstacles I’ve overcome was finding my authentic self and my purpose.
I would go on in life doubting myself in nearly every single decision I made. I felt I couldn’t trust myself and my views and my inner guidance.
That resulted in constant discussions and asking for other people’s opinions with the intention of being told what I should do and where I should go.
I thought they knew better than me, even though I am the only person who knows and has the answers and so you do.
What are your three top tips to overcome the obstacle?
- Slowing and quieting myself down.
We tend to live our lives in such hustle, constantly looking after everybody else’s needs or being busy to avoid the intimate, quiet moments with ourselves.
Slowing down creates space to reconnect with ourselves so that we can hear our own inner guidance.
- Connecting with my life vision
We create our lives and without knowing what we want and what we desire and why; we will create life that’s not ours.
I discovered mine through spending time in nature on my own and daily journaling.
Write down every single thing you want, desire, envision for yourself and then write next to it why. You might be surprised how many dreams, goals are someone else’s and which ones are truly yours.
- Journaling Morning Pages method by Julia Cameron
Every morning I’d journal 3 pages, everything that came to my mind, without it even making any sense. The intention is that on the first page and a half we empty our brain from the to-do lists and shoulds and from the second page and half we connect to our intuition and inner guidance.
