An interview with Netty Bryan Life Coach
What is the biggest obstacle you have had to overcome in your life?
Are you grateful for everything you’ve been through even if it was extremely hard?
Hi, I’m Netty, I’ve travelled one of life’s roughest roads. Years of partner abuse, character assignation on my job which nearly cost me my hard-earned career. I fought by myself and won. Loss of a partner to suicide, a mother with enduring mental health, loss of my father too soon, mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical health issues myself. Challenging? Yes!
In all of that, I say BUT GOD! I found speaking out about my life the hardest thing. Why? Because I was in fear which stemmed from my childhood experiences and partner abuse. I was always told to be quiet or made to be. However, I realized later in life that if I didn’t speak out then I would remain in bondage and would never break free! How could I encourage others with my testimony if I didn’t speak?
The moment I started sharing my story and my truth the chains fell off. I could see light at the end of my tunnel. My words became life to the things I wanted and death to the things I didn’t.
My biggest breakthrough is being able to look back and truly stand in gratitude and power with a good heart. I smile today knowing that the pain of my past is there but instead of still hurting it has set a fire in my soul to keep on faithing it forward. I’ve learnt to use my faith and my experiences to reframe my mind to make the rest of my life the best of my life.
I threw myself into study, I personally developed, I gained certificates, and did many things to better myself. I became a pastor, professional speaker/trainer, and business and money coach/mentor. Now I specialize in helping women worldwide use their experiences and expertise to help others.
They learn like I did to use their God-given GIFTS to create a business or ministry they love because I believe that when good women and godly women get money great things happen in the world.
What are your three top tips to overcome the obstacle?
- Stay optimistic, be hopeful always. It may seem like you are in a never-ending spiral of downward turns in your life or business but when you focus on faith this really gives you the fuel you need to take positive action towards reaching your goals and hearts desires.
- Don’t let what other people think or say about you stop you from showing up as your best self. You will grow in confidence over time and when you do grow, let confidence be the best outfit that you put on every single day. The rest will work itself out or you can learn it.
- Don’t try to fit in; you were made to be in the market of one. You do this by speaking your truth and standing in your divine power unapologetically.
